10 Things to Expect as a Participant

    Coming into college, you can expect for a lot of things to be different from what you are used to. Leadership Advantage is a jump start to the college experience and in many ways is unlike any other program a student entering college has encountered.

10 Things to Expect from LA:

  1. New friends, new ideas, new experiences, and new directions.
  2. Young leaders eager to broaden their leadership capabilities.
  3. No boring lectures, and lots of small group interaction.
  4. A new perspective on the aspects of campus life.
  5. Meet upperclassmen who share similar career goals and who are involved in many campus organizations.
  6. A substance free living environment - there is no time, room, or need for alcohol or other substances!
  7. Dormitory living conditions (you will have another roommate).
  8. Hot, humid, and unpredictable Kentucky weather (be aware when choosing your clothing for the weekend)
  9. Early mornings and late nights.
  10. An interesting learning experience.
